i guess i should know better than to count on things before they are sure. i'm disappointed every time. Any time i get my hopes up about something, it falls through. Sometimes i think i'm never supposed to look forward to anything, but i know that's an overreaction. But dammit, i like to get excited about things!

this evening i had the chance to participate in a Murder Mystery Evening. It was a blast.

i was one of the primary suspects, the character of my ex wife was one of the victims. My sister, who got me involved in this thing, was supposed to have been the stage manager, but the actress who was to have played my ex wife woke up sick this morning, so my sister was my ex wife. (How many people ever thought they'd say that in their lifetimes?)

Very little of it went exactly according to script, but the important points got delivered, at least one of the guests got the right murderer, and several of the red herrings were bitten.i'd call it a success.

 It was a fundraiser for my neices' school, in a venue donated by a father at the school, since he figured no brides would rent the space on Friday the 13th. Lucky for us.

All of the participants, actors and guests alike, were great, most of the guests really got into it, and the actors hammed like hogs... call me Rock Stud, harmony, keith

P.S. i was not the killer, i caught the killer, even though i wanted my ex wife dead.

Can't believe i haven't blogged in so long. So much has happened. Got my license, Northwoods had another health fair, Renfest is starting in two weeks. My mind just went blank, so i'll have to finish this later. harmony...

This evening i have a scheduling conflict between KnightSong, the Gainesville Chorale, and a church function arranged by a committee on which i sit. Since i am on the staff of the Chorale, there was no choice as to which i would do, but i'd love to be singing with KnightSong this evening, since the Chorale performed last night as well. The function at church is a movie evening, which should be fun, though the movie isn't one i would have chosen myself. In three weeks, Northwoods (my church) is having a talent show, which should be even more fun, since i would always choose singing over anything else. (well, one thing might top it...)

and speaking of singing, i have music at which to look.
